Anyone wishing to sell food items at the New Glasgow Farmers Market is required to have a valid Food Handlers Permit. Your certificate must be uploaded and provided before selling at the Market. It is the vendors responsibility to keep this certification updated at all times.
Further every vendor selling food is required to have the appropriate food permits as required and outlined by the Nova Scotia Department of Environment. It is your responsibility to make sure that all regulations and guidelines are followed. Vendors at the Market are subject to inspection by the Department on Environment. Any infractions must be reported to the Market Manager.
