BARN RAISING – a collective action of a community, in which a barn for one of the members is built or rebuilt collectively by members of the community
Raise the Barn is truly a community effort and we wanted to ensure that anyone who wanted to help would have a way to contribute in a way that suits them. Below are active fundraisers that directly support the Raise the Barn initiative.
CURRENT FUNDRAISERS
50/50 MONTHLY DRAW
-Open to 19+residents of Nova Scotia
We have begun an online 50/50 draw. This draw will be held on the last day of every month and the next month’s draw will begin on the first of the month. You can purchase tickets and find all the information you need by clicking the button below!
DREAM VACATION PRIZE DRAW
-Open to 19+residents of Nova Scotia
COMING SOON! We have big dreams and we bet you do too! So we’re going to give one lucky person a dream vacation to Jamaica. Not only that, there will be two early bird draws too! Tickets go on sale November 1st at midnight. Come back here for the link!
Book Sale
At the Market every Saturday, while stock space and weather allows, we will have a section for previously loved books. Books can be purchased on a donation basis, pay what you can. We welcome book donations of all kinds as well, so if you have some great books you’d like to pay forward to someone else, bring them by and add them to the table!

This is our first limited edition Raise the Barn t-shirt! When these are gone, they’re gone. They are $25 taxes included. Proceeds from this shirt go straight to Raise the Barn, order in person or online. Pick up only
