NGFM 2016 Gift Guide- Part 1 For Him
Here we are…a little later than hoped. We had wanted to get this out a little sooner but Mother Nature had other plans and Winter came roaring in like a lion bringing snow, wind and power outages to our area. And it’s not really even winter yet!
Weather or not, the 2016 Christmas and Holiday season approaches and once again you are looking for just the right gift for the people on your list. Whether you’re buying for a teacher, a boss, a close friend, acquaintance, family member or secret Santa, the Market has just the right thing…and for every budget. Something unique and personal made with quality and love that represents the person you are gifting to.
Don’t forget that shopping local is so very important. You are directly helping a small business person and their family this season. Shopping local provides a ripple effect in our community. For when you purchase from one of our vendors, they have to make more product. They must then replenish their materials by purchasing supplies and they can also then spend the money they make at other local businesses and organizations in our community. We are happy to provide a space for more than 50 local farmers, food producers, crafters and artisans from our community every week.
Looking for suggestions? This gift guide is a multi-part series that will help you find just the right thing. If you are looking for additional help, please ask at the welcome table located by the ATM or find the market Manager, Kristi (that’s me) and I will be happy to show you some suggestions while you’re at the Market. If you still aren’t sure what to get, we have Market gift certificates. They come in increments of $10 and can be spent with any vendor at the Market. The proceeds of your gift go straight to vendor as this is a service the Market provides for customers and vendors alike.
